Business Founder

Jean-Pierre (John) Alouan was born and raised in Sydney and benefited from a broad exposure to various industries as an IT consultant at the software engineering and systems levels. Completing a Bachelor of Business (Banking & Finance majors) in 1993, John transitioned into the finance industry while completing a Master’s degree in Applied Finance.

Working in the business & property finance industry since 1994, John is a Fellow of FINSIA, (Financial Services Institute of Australasia), a Fellow of AICD (Australian Institute of Company Directors), a Chartered Company Secretary (Member of CSA - Chartered Secretaries Australia), and an Accredited Expert Witness.

Active as a Mentor with the UTS Graduate School of Business and Monash University’s Internship Program, John’s other community involvement includes serving as a Justice of the Peace and regular personal duties with the Australian association of an international charitable organisation, supported via the Link Community Chest.

John is married with two children and enjoys an active family life. His personal interests include; a regular program of gym work-out, collecting wine, cooking, foreign cinema, competitive pistol shooting, and reading history. He speaks four languages with varying degrees of fluency. In his earlier years, he played senior grade Australian Football with the St. George Australian Football Club and has received various awards from the Royal Life Saving Society of Australia.
